Just as her palms came in close contact with the system, she took flight in the air and drilled her way to the front. At the 2016 Rio Olympics, Simone Biles won four gold medals and set a record. Aside from bronze on the balance beam, and gold for being a part of the ‘Final Five’, Biles won three individual golds in the vault, floor, and all-around.

Biles’ achievements in Rio set an American record for most gold in women’s gymnastics in a single olympics. She made everyone in the nook and corner of her country proud, including Floyd Mayweather, who flew 500 miles to Rio to witness history in the making.

Following his big match against Manny Pacquiao in 2015 and just a year prior to ‘Money Fight’, Floyd Mayweather was spotted at the 2016 Rio Olympics cheering for team USA. While the Final Five penned history, Mayweather took to Instagram and expressed his feelings about Simone Biles’ success. He wrote, “Proud to be here to support Simone Biles for this historic moment!
