On that note, ahead of the fight on the 5th of August, ‘The Problem Child’ thanked his spectators for both the “love and the hate“. If establishing himself as the face of boxing is the be-all and end-all of his life, then a fight against Nate Diaz is, for many, a wild goose chase in the sport.
While Jake Paul looks forward to turning over a new leaf, a number of fans feel that his career is close to being over. In his latest statement on Twitter, Paul argued that while the “weak let a loss defeat them“, “the strong use it to rejuvenate them“. In addition, he stated that he is “coming back for all that’s mine“. “Thank you for love and the hate. 23 days,” he concluded.

Following the statement by Paul, who claimed that Diaz “should have taken other fights he was offered“, a fan said, “Bruh you’re boxing Nate Diaz, relax 😂😂😂”

However, one fan admitted that even though they did not like Paul, they “genuinely” respected how he built himself “from a nobody into one of the biggest earners and biggest names“. “Wishing you success,” they added.

Finally, another fan provided a translation of what Paul actually meant. In his opinion, to “get an easy win“, Paul is “fighting old retired UFC fighters“.
