A Ryan Garcia attempt to throw some light on the latest happenings appears to have rubbed Sean Strickland the wrong way. Fans and followers are seemingly concerned about the young boxer. His recent behavior, accentuated by social media posts, seems to have unsettled many. Probably, that could be a reason why he shared his side of the story through a video early in the morning today.

But, going by the responses he posted, former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland may have none of it. As could be expected, it sparked off a string of back-and-forth between the boxer and the mixed martial artist.

Clearing things up,” tweeted Ryan Garcia first. But then in the clip, he spoke at length about how things were at his end. He revealed not being able to access his money or his Instagram account. “Hey guys, it’s me, Ryan. I’am coming on here to explain what’s going on. I’am not in possession of my phone; I can’t get access to my Instagram. My cards are locked, and I’am just being real, you know,” said Garcia. However, later, he stressed that he was completely all right. Whatever has been said about him so far has been a bunch of lies.

I’ve been really taken advantage [of],” he said, adding, “and I personally wanted to just to send out video to the people that love me and my fans and family that’s concerned, that I’am ok. I’am not dead. I believe in Jesus. All those are lies, and you know, they tried to put me in jail. They’re blocking my cards; I can’t access my money. Nobody’s hitting me back. I don’t know what’s going on, but just know I’am ok. Love.

Many of those who responded expressed their understanding. However, Sean Strickland seemingly held an alternate view.

A Yell from the Cage

Commenting a few hours later, he castigated the young boxer for whining about his mental health. He said, “God, I hate famous people. Bro, you are f**king RICH…. They’re kids in salt mines, kids dying of cancer begging for one more day on this earth, and you’re having a mental breakdown on social media… You f**king p**sy…

It was Ryan Garcia’s turn. He took up the recent controversy over Strickland beating streamer Sneako: “…You went on and took advantage of a streamer who was someone with no exp. And you gave him a concussion. You think you are doing a service, but really, you are just a bully coming in the name of a hero.

‘Tarzan’ shot back sometime later, “You get what you want?? Did enough people tell you they love you??? Do you feel better??? You get enough attention, lmao!!! Next time, just be a man and pull the motherf**ker; don’t press post. Haha, f**king woman.

Ryan Garcia’s candid retort followed. “I lost brain cells reading that! Please show me how serious you are to actually handling this like men!! But let’s actually be serious; no internet stuff,” said ‘KingRy’.

Las Vegas, my man…. roll through….,” said Sean Strickland in reply.

While a few fans seem surprised by the claims Garcia made in the video, some lauded the whole thing as an outstanding attempt by him to get everyone to follow the fight with Devin Haney. Nevertheless, even his ex-wife seemed genuinely concerned about what’s been happening with Ryan Garcia lately.

Anyhow, it’s over to Ryan Garcia now. Fans must be eagerly looking forward to his response to Sean Strickland.
