Dillon Danis and Logan Paul are creating a lot of buzz for their upcoming showdown that will take place on October 14. It’s an old hat that Danis has targeted Logan Paul’s fiancée, Nina Agdal, on social media. Due to this, Agdal has filed a $150,000 lawsuit and a temporary restraining order against Danis. Moreover, winning the lawsuit could still cost Danis about $400,000 in legal fees.

The lawsuit makes the Danis vs. Paul fight even more intriguing. Furthermore, in a podcast episode, Logan’s brother, Jake Paul, said that Danis will need to fight to pay off his legal debts. Reacting to this, former UFC heavyweight contender Brendan Schaub made waves in the news. This is because Schaub took to social media to express his critical views about the lawsuit.

Why is Logan Paul disappointed with Brendan?

A clip showing ‘The Problem Child’ discussing Dillon’s finances with Logan triggered Brendan. He took to his Twitter handle to post the clip and captioned it by drawing striking parallels with the renowned movie Fight Club. The tweet read, “This bums me out. First rule of fight club 1. Don’t sue another fighter building the fight.”

According to the YouTuber-turned-boxer, he told the MMA star about Nina’s lawsuit three weeks ago. However, Brendan’s initial response showed ignorance. Now, he is acting like a referee for the fight. Logan says this goes beyond just promoting a fight. Furthermore, he mentioned that he is not the one suing; Nina is. She’s defending herself legally against someone she sees as a predator. Moreover, he fully supports her choice to file the lawsuit.

Anyone who doesn’t get that is delusional, according to Logan. As he expressed in a retaliating tweet, “He picked a fight with an innocent woman who is standing up for herself the only way she can: by holding a predator legally accountable for breaking the law — any person who doesn’t understand that is a delusional twat. The lawsuit is HER choice, and I fully support her.”

Not only Brendan, another renowned MMA star, has also weighed in on the lawsuit.

Sean O’Malley thinks the lawsuit is “fight tactics”

Sean O’Malley, the UFC bantamweight champion, talks about the legal upheaval in the Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis fight. He thinks Paul and his fiancée, Nina Agdal, sued Danis to shake him up before their October 14 fight. Furthermore, O’Malley shared this on his Timbo Sugar Show podcast.

Drawing from his own experience of facing lawsuits during fight preparations, O’Malley understands the stress and financial burden it can impose on a fighter. He specifically points out that Danis is likely under financial pressure due to the high cost of legal representation in New York. O’Malley stated, “It was fight tactics. I’ve been sued in a fight camp. It’s not fun. It’s very stressful. You’re getting lawyer fees every week.”
