Boxing legend Mike Tyson came out with a festive spirit this New Year and even had an announcement for fans of combat sports. Video games have long been part of the fight culture with ‘Iron Mike’ himself featured in many video games. Moreover, he recently announced that former UFC Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will be featuring as a video game character in the popular RPG Raid Shadow Legends.
The game has seen a lot of popularity after the company used to promote it on social media platforms like YouTube where content creators can talk about the game in their videos. ‘Iron Mike’ did exactly this as he shared features of the game on his podcast Hotboxin and revealed how one can unlock and play with Rousey.

On his podcast along with co-host Dj Woo Kid, Tyson told his audiences to go and download the game or they will be missing out on the action.
“You got a phone right then you should be playing Raid Shadow legends otherwise you’ve been missing out,” he said.
This was not all as he then revealed how to get Rousey as a playable character and also how to get useful items in the game.
“You can get Ronda for free whether you’re new or a long-time player just by logging into Raid. All you have to do is download and play Raid for seven days between now and the 20th and Ronda’s yours. To celebrate Ronda’s arrival you can use the promo code Raid Ronda to get a bunch of useful in-game items.” he added.

This certainly is great news for Rousey fans who have become a star in pro wrestling following her decline in the UFC. However, she is still one of the biggest stars in combat sports and her image will only add to the popularity of the game.
