UFC superstar, Conor McGregor, surely loves to kick up a storm. In fact, he had a few choice words to say about Islam Makhachev’s recent victory against Charles Oliveira. This statement in turn quickly caught the eye of Jake Paul. ‘The Problem Child’ went on to call McGregor out for his statement, drawing the ire of fans in the process.

Makhachev faced Oliveira at UFC 280, in Abu Dhabi, on October 22, 2022. He went on to win the bout by submission via an arm-triangle choke. In victory, he won the vacant UFC lightweight championship. Moreover, he also won the performance of the night.

In a now-deleted tweet, McGregor took a sly swipe at Makhachev. While he initially praised the phenom from Dagestan for his performance. He went on to mention that he has acquired the tools to beat his style.
McGregor even went on to detail a few moves that he would incorporate for the same. Notably, McGregor faced Makhachev’s trainer, Khabib Nurmagomedov, in 2018. However, he ended up losing the bout by submission.

McGregor’s statement did not sit well with Jake Paul. He went on to call out McGregor for his statement. Paul mentioned that Makhachev will obliterate McGregor in the very first round.

Moreover, he accused McGregor of deleting his tweets.

Fans were not too happy with the fact that Jake Paul called Conor McGregor out. And a lot of fans took to social media to share their thoughts.
