Last weekend, the UFC 264 main event between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier ended in a disheartening fashion. In this fight, the Irishman broke his leg and eventually lost the bout via a first-round T/KO. Also, with this vicious loss, McGregor put himself on the receiving end of criticism coming from fans, fighters, and rivals.
McGregor, who tried keeping Poirier on his toes, failed to do so. However, he still showed a snippet of his old self by landing a few significant strikes. But in the end, it was ‘The Diamond’ who edged over the Irish MMA stalwart.
