In his prime, one of Mike Tyson’s greatest weapons was his intimidating presence. The boxing legend was known for striking fear over his opponents by playing mind games with them and scaring them before the fight even started. Mike Tyson was a master of psychological warfare, which made him one of the most intimidating boxers of all time.

Moreover, even at the age of 55, ‘The Baddest Man On The Planet’ still possesses this intimidating persona as Joe Rogan found about this the hard way 0n his podcast. In an episode of the Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan sat down with music icon Snoop Dogg and revealed an incident where Mike Tyson scared him into changing the set of his podcast.

The pair were having a conversation when Snoop noticed the change in Rogan’s setup. The former Fear Factor host then revealed that he had a different setup until he had Tyson as a guest. “The reason why this table’s wide, it’s true this is a true story. When I first moved to Austin I had a smaller table that I was gonna set up. I was like maybe I’ll be a little more intimate with the guests and then I had Mike on one time,” Rogan iterated to Dogg further.

He then stated that the first time he had Tyson as a guest they had a great time. Rogan added, “The first time I had him on, Mike was not training at all. He said he can’t work out at all because it will ignite his ego and he just smokes a lot of weed. We had a great conversation it was real fun.”

Mike Tyson scared Rogan into changing his set

This was not the case when Mike Tyson came back on his podcast to promote his fight with Roy Jones Jr. as Rogan revealed that the boxer scared him into changing his table. Rogan said, “He came back on again to promote the Roy Jones Jr fight and he was jacked. His giant muscles in his forearms and he looked like he was ready to go. Like you can see the element that made him. Mike Tyson in his prime had been reignited whatever it was. I’m like I need a wider table,” said Rogan.

Moreover, Rogan also added that just being around Tyson made him nervous, “I got I was nervous in the room with him like you could tell he’s ready to go I don’t give a f**k if he is 55.”
