Unlike other sports, a small mistake or a slight diversion of focus costs big in combat sports. There have been many contests where one would see a minor distraction leading to a brutal knockout.

Jorge Masvidal, who is a star UFC warrior, understands it well. Recently, he shared a post on Facebook which showed several brutal finishes. The interesting part is that many labeled it as a cheap form of winning, whereas the opponent took it as an opportunity.
