Jake Paul still hasn’t given up on his desire of facing UFC legend Conor McGregor. In fact, he even believes that the fight is going to take place in the near future. Paul recently held a press conference ahead of his fight against Nate Diaz. However, his primary focus throughout the event seemed to be McGregor. Paul constantly pushed the idea that his fighting McGregor is a good idea. Moreover, Nate Diaz abruptly walked out of the conference leaving Paul embarrassed.
Paul believes that he has a clear path forward to inevitably fight McGregor, but he must first defeat Diaz, which won’t be an easy feat. He stated that he wants to face McGregor next. Paul said that he could see a roadmap of him knocking the lights out of Diaz and then facing McGregor. He added, “Do what Conor couldn’t do, knock out Nate”. Paul believes that if he is able to do so, then the fight between Conor McGregor and him will be the biggest in combat sports.
Interestingly, Diaz remained surprisingly respectful to Jake, which even left ‘the Problem Child’ confused. It is speculated that it might have something to do with Diaz being involved in a lawsuit, which may have caused him to stay out of trouble. The video of Jake Paul talking about knocking Diaz out was uploaded by ESPN Ringside. Fans had a lot to say about the YouTube Boxer’s claims.
