Francis Ngannou and Deontay Wilder are probably the scariest fighters of all time. Out of the two, one made his name in the MMA space and became the undisputed UFC heavyweight champion of the world. On the other hand, Wilder branded himself as the most intimidating boxer of all time with an exuberant KO record.

The combat sports fans always remain on their toes to know who among the two men is the stronger puncher. Many fans might not have the answer to this question, however ‘The Predator‘ has a clear opinion on this.

In a chat with Michael Bisping ahead of his UFC 270 clash with Ciryl Gane, Ngannou responded to a question on this topic. He said, “Me! We can try that.”

To test the power of boxers and MMA stars, there’s one prime metric for the same, i.e. a punch bag machine. This machine eventually comes up with a number, which showcases the intensity of a fighter’s punch.

Back in 2018, Deontay Wilder tested his power on this machine. To everyone’s surprise, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ punched with his left hand, which is not his prime punching hand. Despite that, the number that appeared on the screen was 927.

On the other hand, Ngannou hit the punching bag at 129,161 units. This broke Tyrone Spong’s record of 114,000 units.

Francis Ngannou is pretty vocal about his love for boxing. ‘The Predator’ is eager to get a hang of ‘Sweet Science’ and he’s optimistic about boxing at some point in the future.

He was also called out by the WBC heavyweight champ, Tyson Fury, for a boxing collision.

As the boxing bigwigs are interested, it could happen. Hence, fans will also be eager to see the Cameroonian against the likes of Fury and Wilder.
