The biggest name in MMA, Conor McGregor, and arguably the biggest name in boxing, Tyson Fury, are taking shots at each other on Twitter. However, in the past, these two have shown respect for each other. In 2020, ‘The Gypsy King’ was in the crowd for the return of ‘The Notorious’ at UFC 246.

After the Irishman defeated Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone in just 40 seconds, ‘The Gypsy King’ celebrated his victory. However, recently these two are going after each other.

Earlier, Tyson Fury posted a congratulatory Tweet to his rival Khabib Nurmagomedov for his excellent career. Afterward, ‘The Notorious‘ chimed in and bashed the heavyweight boxer in a now-deleted tweet. Also, McGregor had a few more tweets targeting ‘The Gypsy King’.

It is baffling how the Irishman has started a beef with someone for sending a positive message to his rival. Besides, he and Fury have shown respect for each other in the past. Also, this suggests how much deep of a grudge ‘The Notorious’ is holding for ‘The Eagle’.

The Eagle‘ has already retired from MMA. Thus, fans of the Irishman would hope to see him get over this grudge and leave the negativity behind, and focus on his own career inside the octagon.

The former two-division champion with his Proper 12 Irish Whiskey brand was a sponsor for one of the biggest heavyweight clashes of the decade. He even sent across a bottle of Proper 12 to Fury for the after-fight party. The MacLife, reporter presented ‘The Gypsy King’ with the bottle, and he appreciated the Irishman for the gesture.

In conclusion, even though they have a feud occasionally. These two have done exceptional work in their respective sport and have earned each other’s respect.
