Joe Rogan shares his reaction to the ugly brawl during Mayweather- Gotti
In the clip that is uploaded on PowerfulJRE, Joe Rogan shared his reaction to the bout. Rogan pointed out how Gotti was predominantly on the receiving end, facing the relentless assault of the greatest boxer in history. Joe then explained that Gotti then resorted to clinching and holding tactics later in the fight. Furthermore, he pointed out that you can use this move in MMA, however, the problem with Gotti was that he wasn’t letting Mayweather go. This might be because Gotti got hit in the face twice while using a clinch during the fight.

However, as Joe pointed out, the referee got tired of him defying his instruction and thus reached his limits. Rogan said, “So Kenny Bayless gets tired of him not listening and not letting go. And he pushes him off, and he says ‘That’s it I’m stopping the fight. That’s it you won’t listen to me, I am calling this fight.’” However, this was the final straw that broke the camel’s back. Gotti’s actions spiraled out of control, and he broke free from Bayless and launched punches at Mayweather. This, however, didn’t work as well for him as Mayweather skillfully countered one of his blows after which Gotti backed to his corner.
