Over the past few months, Tommy Fury was right at the top of news headlines. The young gun was set to face Jake Paul on December 18 last year. However, as he succumbed to a rib injury and chest infection, he had to withdraw from the fight. Subsequently, he received immense backlash from fans and boxing purists. Even UFC legend Chael Sonnen painted shots at him.

However, Sonnen, in this entire process, goofed up on Fury’s name and left the fans in splits. On his podcast, he constantly kept calling Tommy Fury as ‘Will’ Fury.

“I’m gonna talk about Will Fury vs Jake Paul now because if that fight gets made, I will never speak of it again,” he said.

Sonnen later added, “But we’ve had 30 to 40 nights and it hasn’t changed once. It’s just about Will Fury.”

“Will didn’t have his b**ls the first time, but he got shamed into it by social media and his own family. He’s going to make sure that he does the walk the second time, as long as there’s enough money that he can fall into”

Sonnen’s title for this video clearly had ‘Tommy Fury‘. However, it remains to be seen whether “Will Fury” was intentional or accidental.

Citing Chael Sonnen’s comments in the above video, many fans came up with honest reactions on the same. One fan wrote, “This whole “Will” thing has me dying……” 

“Chael is a living example that the most disrespectful thing you can say to a person is usually G rated. I’ve inadvertently start calling this man Will Fury,” added another fan.
