UFC superstar, Conor McGregor, is undoubtedly one of the most iconic names in the world of MMA. As the first UFC fighter to hold UFC championships in two weight classes simultaneously, his performances made him a household name. Meanwhile, former professional boxer and boxing analyst, Carl Froch, is often seen calling out many notable names from the world of combat sports. And now it looks like Mayweather is the latest victim of his callouts.
Carl Froch: “I'd fight Conor McGregor in the cage. I could be getting myself in trouble here or into a position I can't wiggle out of, but I think I'd take him on in the cage. He's too small.” [Froch on Fighting]

Froch was engaged in a rapid fire section with former boxer George Groves as a part of his show Froch on Fighting. In conversation, he was asked about facing McGregor or Jake Paul in a fight. Froch responded by expressing his interest in fighting the duo.
Moreover, he seemed confident about his chances against Paul and McGregor. He said, “Jake Paul, I’d only need one arm for Jake Paul. Conor McGregor might give me a few small problems. But he’s too small. I wouldn’t train much for either of them.”
Froch further added, “If I’m fighting Conor McGregor in the cage, I’d train harder. Because I’d fight Conor McGregor in the cage. I could be getting myself in trouble here or into a position I can’t wiggle out of. But I think I’d take him on in the cage.”
It is worth noting that he had called Paul out previously. And, mentioned that he would fight Paul if he beats Tommy Fury.
Fans were not too sure about Carl Froch calling out Conor McGregor
Combat sports aficionados were not too happy with Froch’s callout of McGregor. And felt that he was just doing so for clout. In fact, a lot of them took to social media to share their thoughts about the same.
