Conor McGregor is clearly not a fan of YouTube boxing as he praised the high-level competition of UFC 261 over the recent trends of exhibition boxing. However, he faced a backlash from one of the biggest names of celebrity boxing.

Internet sensation Logan Paul demeaned Conor McGregor by responding to his tweet. The YouTuber, who will box against McGregor’s former rival Floyd Mayweather, didn’t hesitate in taking shots at the former two-division UFC champion. Turning to social media, ‘The Maverick’ wrote, “shut the f*** up.”

YouTubers and UFC fighters have shared a vile relationship for a long time. Ben Askren, Nate Diaz, and several other MMA elites have faced similar treatment from the YouTube boxers like Jake Paul and Logan Paul.

That said, Logan Paul’s brother Jake Paul was present amid the live audience at UFC 261. He didn’t fail to grab attention as the entire crowd voiced their dissent towards him. Moreover, UFC veteran Daniel Cormier also had a run-in with ‘The Problem Child’. So, the prevailing feud between UFC fighters and Internet celebrities is all set to continue.

Meanwhile, Conor McGregor’s recent comments on YouTube boxing can spark more social media rivalries and the Paul brothers can once again turn their attention towards ‘The Notorious’.

‘The Problem Child’ called out the UFC star for a boxing clash. However, McGregor didn’t respond and went ahead with his UFC fights. He is now locked in against Dustin Poirier for an epic trilogy clash at UFC 264. Hence, it is clear that he is paying no attention to the YouTube boxers.

However, the same cannot be said about the Internet stars, as they would require an elite opposition to remain relevant in the sport. Logan Paul, who will fight Floyd Mayweather next, will most certainly have aspirations of sharing the ring with McGregor too.
