Jake Paul has certainly brought a shift in the boxing landscape since he first entered the ring in 2018. In just a couple of years, he has emerged as one of the boxing world’s most talked-about figures. His fight with Mike Tyson has already captured the attention of the globe, and fans are eager to see it in November. Boxing pundits, boxers, and fans have been debating who would win this fight. 

Amidst all this chatter, UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley and Jake Paul’s new partner in his new business venture “W”, has also shed some light on the subject. He thinks that the Youtuber turned boxer would defeat Tyson, and he finds it crazy to even say it out loud. Sean O’Malley explained that this is such a high-magnitude fight, that people from all genders, and all ages know that Paul is fighting Tyson.

It’s not Mike Tyson’s time right now 

The 29-year-old fighter appeared on Paul’s ‘BS w/ Jake Paul’ podcast, where he mentioned that ‘Iron Mike’ has not been active in the sport for so many years. Tyson was last seen inside the ring against Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition bout in 2020. “So for him to just come up and get a fight, I’m sure he’s going to be in as good shape as he possibly could be in. But it’s just, you know, it’s not his time right now,” O’Malley claimed. 

Furthermore, O’Malley explained that he really likes Tyson, but it seems hard for him to go against a young boxer like Paul. “I love Mike Tyson. But, I do think Jake’s gonna get the job done and I do think, eight two-minute rounds, I believe you could put him away in the later rounds, 5,6,7,8, I do think you could put him down, which is crazy to even f**king say,” O’Malley predicted.

It has been a hot topic about who would win the Tyson vs. Paul clash. Many believe that the young fighter has no chance against one of the most ruthless boxers in the history of the sport. However, ‘The Problem Child’ may surpass Tyson simply due to his youth and bigger stature. Nevertheless, another heavyweight champ has joined the conversation and has proposed his name to fight Paul. 

The undisputed king teases a fight against Jake Paul 

Paul is known to call out big names for a fight. But this time, one of the boxing greats has suggested that he would be happy to fight the young man. The fighter is none other than former undisputed heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis. He was in conversation with FOX 29 Philadelphia, where he explained that Paul’s age might be a determining factor in the bout. However, Lewis believes that if Tyson comes with his 10-second combination, and if one of those punches catches Paul, he’s going to go down. 

Following that, he was asked, “Would you want to fight the winner?” In a situation where he had to answer something, Lewis stated, “I’m not ready to answer that yet, but you know, I hope Tyson saves a little bit of Jake Paul for me.”
