Francis Ngannou, who has had a back and forth with WBC champion Tyson Fury, has long desired to get into the boxing ring. After Ngannou’s impressive win over Ciryl ‘Bon Gamin’ Gane to defend his UFC heavyweight championship at UFC 270, Daniel ‘DC’ Cormier and ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson discussed this dream bout and predicted how it would play out.

Cormier said, “Watching the fight against Cyril. I’m watching it, and I’m thinking to myself, love Francis, can’t box Tyson Fury man.”

When one guest suggested Ngannou’s injury prior to the fight, the former UFC double champion added, “Don’t matter, though, it’s a different level.”

“Yes, absolutely,” replied Mike Tyson.

Both Cormier and Tyson brushed off Ngannou’s chances against ‘The Gypsy King‘. Indeed, no one will favor a debuting MMA fighter in the boxing ring against an undefeated boxer.

The fight would generate a lot of attention. However, it has always been difficult to see this crossover bout because of Ngannou’s UFC contract. But now, ‘The Predator’ has fought the last bout of his UFC deal.

Francis Ngannou’s UFC 270 performance impressed Mike Tyson

Francis Ngannou defended his UFC heavyweight championship in an emphatic performance at UFC 270. The scariest boxer of his era enjoyed Ngannou’s performance and felt he broke his opponent inside the octagon. According to ‘DC’, Tyson jumped off his seat when ‘The Predator’ slammed Ciryl Gane on the mat in the third round.

However, ‘The Predator‘ wouldn’t have the option to take down ‘The Gypsy King’ inside the boxing ring. Thus, it’s tough to imagine Ngannou giving any trouble to the British boxer.
