The fight between Logan Paul and Dillon Danis is all set for October 14. Many boxing aficionados are looking forward to this contest. However, the key selling point for this bout is not the brutal skills or championship titles, it’s something too personal. After this fight was announced, Danis started digging up Paul’s fiancée, Nina Agdal’s past relationships and interviews and used it against his opponent. In his way of trash-talking, Danis was trying to get under Logan Paul’s skin.

As a result, Paul claimed that he’d knock Danis out in their fight at the AO Arena in Manchester. But looking at Danis’s past behavior, as he had pulled out of KSI‘s fight last minute, before this. So people expected him to do the same this time too. To avoid that, Paul played a trick, and Danis’ friend and mentor, Conor McGregor, fell for this little trick of Logan Paul.

Just a few days before his fight, Logan Paul appeared on his younger brother’s podcast, BS w/ Jake Paul. In that episode, Jake Paul asked his brother about his wrist injury that he posted on his social media a few days ago. So, Jake asked Logan whether he was still eligible to fight against ‘El Jefe’.

He replied, “Yes I am able to fight for sure.” Then ‘The Problem Child’ asked him when this exactly happened. Logan stated, “Couple of days ago in training.” Furthermore, he talked about how it happened because he threw a punch wrong, and amid his explanation, he instantly broke character. He burst out saying, “I’ll be honest bro I didn’t f***in break my wrist. I lied because I’ll tell you why- because I’m not trying to scare Dillon away from this fight.

But this was taken literally and instantly by Conor McGregor. He made a post on X, which has since been deleted. In the post, he wrote, “Let’s go brother! Logans broken. Broken wrist. Broken heart.” McGregor is highly involved in the fight and is standing in the corner of the Bellator MMA fighter. He even mocked Paul that he’s “fighting for his marriage.” This is the reason why McGregor is a big topic of discussion in the backdrop of Paul vs. Danis. So much so that Paul has even extended him a $1 million bet. But has he accepted it?

Conor McGregor has still not answered the $1 million offer

This coming Saturday, Logan Paul will square off against Dillon Danis. However, a month ago, Conor McGregor claimed that Paul would pull out of the fight at the last minute. Well, this enraged ‘Maverick’ and he instantly offered McGregor with a $1 million bet on the results of the bout. ‘Notorious’ didn’t give any answer to the Youtuber-turned-prizefighter.

During the face-to-face interview, Danis confirmed that McGregor put $250,000 on the line in his favor. This bewildered Paul, and he told Mirror Fighting, “If he was behind Dillon he’d take my $1m bet, there’s a reason he completely ghosted me. Dillon mentioned that Conor put money on him in the face-to-face, he goes ‘Conor put $200k on me’ and I’m like ‘Then why wouldn’t he take my f***ing bet then.

Even to this day, McGregor hasn’t made any comment on the bet. But he definitely enjoyed Paul’s supposed injury, as it’d just substantiate the claim of pulling out he made regarding Paul a month ago. Unfortunately for McGregor, Logan wasn’t telling the truth.
