On 15th October, Deontay Wilder made a successful comeback defeating Robert Helenius in the first round of their fight. Wilder, who weighed almost 40lbs less than Robert Helenius did, had to land only one accurate punch. This was Wilder’s first fight since his last defeat against ‘The Gypsy King’ Tyson Fury. Wilder returned after a year of absence from the sport and snatched an impressive win.
While Wilder weighed in at only 214½lbs, Robert Helenius weighed in at 253¼lbs for this fight. Even then, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ made the weight difference look negligible. With only ten seconds left in the first round, Wilder shut the living lights of Helenius and the latter hit the ground.

Wilder and Fury had a trilogy. The first fight was a draw. However, Fury won the rest two fights. The third fight had a controversial ‘slow count‘ by the referee. Speaking of the same, Masvidal said, “Will there fourth? Fans believe Wilder should be 2-1 in the trilogy over #TysonFury because of referee counts…’
Wilder is back and fans are excited to see more of him. Hopefully, there will be more memorable nights from Wilder.
