UFC commentator Joe Rogan is one of the most influential people in the world and has the power to sway public opinion on a whim. However, sometimes even Rogan makes a blunder or two, despite researching the topics he discusses. This was exactly what happened when Rogan reacted to a boxing match that he thought was between a father and a son.

In the video, Rogan details how the father should have used restraint against his son in the match. He also went on to detail how the father’s punches could result in permanent brain damage to the son. However, Rogan was in for a surprise after he found out the truth about the video.

At the end of the clip, it was revealed to Rogan that the two fighters were not father and son. This shocked the former Fear Factor host, who claimed that the title in the thumbnail stated that they were father and son. However, he was then told by his assistant that the thumbnail was fake and might have been used to generate more clicks.

The match was actually a contest between YouTubers Matt Watson and ‘Dad‘ which might be why Rogan mistook him for Watson’s father. This was not all, as the fans were also quick to react to Rogan’s mistake.

Lastly, one fan stated that Watson peaked after Rogan mentioned him. He added that there was nothing better than this for Watson.

The fans seemed to have a great time reacting to Rogan’s blunder. However, given the platform, the UFC commentator has at his disposal. A little background research would have prevented this from happening in the first place.
