Schaub was talking at ‘The Joe Rogan Experience‘ hosted by Rogan himself. Additionally, podcasters and stand-up comedians, Eddie Bravo and Bryan Callen, were also present as guests for the episode.
In conversation, Schaub opened up about a conversation he had with Paul. He said, “Jake Paul came to my show at the Improv. He’s in the green room, I was talking to him there. And, that was right when called out Bisping.”
Schaub then mentioned that he made Paul understand why that might not be in his best interests. He said, “I know you say, you don’t care about getting validated from the fight community, stuff like that. But you do. And, I said, I’m telling you, calling out Bisping ain’t the move. He has one eye and a fake knee, He’s retired. I said leave him alone.”
Meanwhile, Rogan pitched in, and stated, “Not only that. No one would sanction it. He literally can’t see. Who’s gonna sanction a fighter where a fighter has one eye.”
However, Schaub mentioned that there is a possibility that the fight can be sanctioned by drawing parallels with Evander Holyfield.
