Jake Paul never lets an opportunity slide past to throw shade at Dana White. The American boxer, who has been at odds with the UFC CEO for years now, didn’t shy away from blasting the current Conor McGregor situation. What’s more? He minced the same words that White used for him when his fight with Mike Tyson received a jolt.

UFC 303, scheduled for June 30, was set for its first press conference in Dublin. A crowd of over 10,000 was waiting to welcome their homegrown superstar, but the event got shelved merely hours before they could witness ‘Notorious’ bring flair against Michael Chandler. Since then, the MMA world has grown wary of rumors about whether a similar fate awaits UFC 303. Paul, 27, seizing the moment, turned to his X handle and declared, “People keep asking me about Conor McGregor / UFC 303.”

“Obviously, I know a lot about it, but I’m not going to talk about it publicly. For the first time probably ever in my life, I have no comment on something. That’s their world, and you know, they get pis*ed at me every time I talk about that stuff. Good for them and they’ll figure it out,” Paul added.

White’s scathing remarks, reading the very same words as above, about the YouTuber-turned-prizefighter’s fight with Mike Tyson getting postponed, inspired these comments. While there is no official statement detailing the cause of the cancellation of the Dublin presser, McGregor extended his apology to the fans. The Irishman also reiterated his desire to “put on the greatest all-time show in the Octagon.” But is it really happening? What about Paul’s upcoming fight with ‘Iron Mike’?

What’s next for Conor McGregor and Jake Paul?

While Chael Sonnen believed the silence of McGregor, 35, suggested his newfound focus, Daniel Cormier made his concerns known. Interestingly, if ‘Mystic Mac’ brushes against Chandler, 38, Leon Edwards is ready to entertain a championship fight against him. The welterweight champion wanted to give McGregor a chance to become a three-division world champion, but he also wanted a stage to “take out a guy like Conor McGregor.”

Meanwhile, Paul, at 9-1, will have to wait a little longer to stand across from Tyson, 57, in the boxing ring. Their fight, initially booked for July 20, has yet to receive a new date. Despite his medical emergency and ulcer flare-up, which pushed the fight, Tyson is gearing up for a knockout finish. It remains to be seen when the fans will witness the two exchange punches next.
