Not just the fans, but bigwig fighters like Stipe Miocic are also intrigued to watch this fight. The former UFC heavyweight champ even gave some piece of advice to the YouTuber turned boxer.
Speaking exclusively to FightHype, Paul opened up on the conversation he had with Miocic.

“I was just talking with Stipe and he was like saying when he fought here, he had the adrenaline dump in front of everyone. He was getting goosebumps, he was getting emotional because it was his hometown.”
“So I’m trying to like find a balance of being excited but not like too excited. So I think after the fight I will. My emotions probably show more,” he said.
Miocic and Paul are both from Ohio and the latter’s fight with Woodley will take place on Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio. That said, the former king of UFC’s big men’s division has seen the sport from a different end altogether and he’s also fought at his hometown.
