Joe Rogan is one of the very few personalities in the combat sports world, with immense knowledge of a wide variety of subjects and a gigantic audience. The 55 old’s words often speak the truth when he lifts a fighter and claims they are legitimate. Such has been the case with the professional boxer and YouTuber, ‘The Problem Child’, Jake Paul.

In a recent interview with ‘Pomp’, the YouTuber turned boxer revealed how important it was to receive endorsements from someone like Joe Rogan. While the entire world was seemingly against him, Paul was set straight when Rogan gave the well-deserved credit to the fighter.

Jake Paul appreciates Joe Rogan’s endorsements

Jake Paul, was recently interviewed by Anthony Pompliano. The conversation took an emotional turn when ‘Pomp’ turned towards Joe Rogan’s endorsements for Paul. ‘Pomp’ questioned, “How important is it to win over people like Joe Rogan or others with big audiences that understand the game of fighting to help change the way people look at you in the sport?”

Without a doubt, the cruiserweight boxer affirmed that it meant a lot and that it was very much needed. Paul said, “It means a lot and it’s needed, for sure. And he has so much credibility, I think probably more credibility than anyone, you know.” The 25-year-old fighter held Rogan’s credibility in the top three, given his massive knowledge of combat sports. Undeniably, Rogan’s enormous audience came as a cherry on top.

Paul continued his praise for the UFC commentator. He claimed that Rogan knew how hard it was to knock someone out. Paul gave the example of Tyron Woodley and Anderson Silva. Furthermore, he said, “So, he sees what I’m doing, and he’s right. He’s basically said if I wasn’t a YouTube kid and I was just a young boxing prospect beating all of these people, everyone would be like what the f**k, this kid can punch like he can knock people out. This is going to be a world champion. But for some reason, they just say, oh it’s fake. Fights are rigged. And I even see people say, oh Jake is paying Joe Rogan to say that.” 

Joe Rogan praised Jake Paul’s abilities

In the JRE episode #1892, the 55-year-old podcaster showered praise for the YouTuber turned professional boxer. Rogan said, “He [Jake Paul] demands respect. He beat Anderson Silva. Knocked him down. It was wild as f**k.” Rogan was utterly impressed with Paul’s abilities.

Furthermore, Rogan went on and justified that the match was not rigged in any way. He said that Silva moved forward to Paul and Paul hit him with a step-in jab that landed on Silva’s chin. Because of this, Silva fell backward while he leaned against his right hand and went down. Additionally, Rogan said, “That is legit as f**k. Anybody who says it’s not legit is crazy. He can fight. Is he the best in the world? No. but is he getting better with every fight? Yes.”
