Moreover, after the success of Mayweather vs McGregor, the Matchroom CEO felt confident enough that he nearly messaged UFC president Dana White.

“I don’t know. Listen, if the money’s there, I’m sure. But, I nearly message Dana. I will after this interview and just say, ‘I don’t know.’ I mean, he’s done Floyd against McGregor. They saw how big that was, Saul you’ve got that whole Hispanic fan base, you’ve got McGregor’s fan base. I mean, it’s massive, but who knows” he said.

The spectacle of a UFC superstar stepping into the ring against a boxing sensation would undoubtedly capture the imagination of fight fans around the world. Moreover, the two fighters recently engaged in a war of words, possibly setting up a bout for the future.

This was not all as McGregor, would give a fiery response to Alvarez claiming that he could beat the undisputed champ with no hands. “Canelo you little gi*ger sausage. I’d beat you with NO HANDS. Don’t forget,” he wrote in a Twitter post.
