Francis Ngannou and Mike Tyson are undoubtedly the biggest stars in the fight world. The hard-hitting heavyweights share an alluring relationship with each other. They have strengthened their bond and only added on to their sublime connection.

But recently in the Hotboxin podcast, ‘Iron’ Mike and his disciple crossed swords while discussing the role of a manager in a fighter’s life. Tyson asserted a manager plays the role of a friend in a fighter’s life.

To which, Ngannou responded, “It depends for the service, it depends on what the manager is doing for you.”

But ‘The Baddest man on the Planet’ then asked the recently crowned UFC heavyweight champ for the difference between a manager and a lawyer.

“No, it’s two different things, Mike. Like we are in a two-era very different and two different sports…There’s a lot of things going on that we can’t manage ourselves. So we definitely need somebody around to help us handle that, to go out, hustle for us, that’s what the manager be,” replied Ngannou.

Despite that, Tyson disagreed with the Cameroonian fighter’s notion. He felt a lawyer can take care of more than the legal stuff and also look after countless responsibilities on behalf of the fighter.

But Ngannou stayed firm on his juncture and said, “I don’t agree with you, with that.”

Ngannou and Tyson share a similar notion and approach towards a majority of things in life. The ‘Predator’ considers Mike Tyson as one all-time-legend of the game and he even takes fight lessons from the former frequently.

Yet, while discussing and sharing their notion on the above subject, the pair didn’t really stay on the same page. However, irrespective of the differences in their opinion, both Tyson and Ngannou didn’t let the same take a toll on their bond.
