In a recent interview, Kalle Sauerland gave out a statement that shocked several UFC and boxing fans. Sauerland made a statement where he announced that the Ex-UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou is in touch with the team of Misfit boxing, and there is a chance he may sign a deal with them.
Misfits Boxing, a promotional group, was established by three renowned people. One of them is the famous internet celebrity, KSI, and the other two are Kalle Sauerland himself, and Mams Taylor, a music producer. Misfit boxing provides chances for fighters from different areas to fight in pay-per-view shows.
Francis Ngannou, who is now the Ex-UFC heavyweight champion, after vacating his title, called out Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua for a fight. However, in a recent conference, Sauerland suggested another probable fight between The Predator and the professional boxer, Derek Chisora.

After showing his interest in boxing before, earlier this week, he showed his intention to fight. However, there was no official/ formal announcement from Ngannou. Thus, he has become a hot commodity for the sponsors.
While some reports suggest that Ngannou will once again fight an opponent in the octagon in the not-too-distant future, for now, Ngannou will be setting his eyes on the boxing ring. Ngannou is hoping to have at least two matches under his belt by the end of this year. He believes that pro-boxing will be his career path for him going forward.

Sauerland on his future plans for Francis Ngannou
In an unofficial interview, promoter Kalle Sauerland said, “I’d love to sign him, I think he’d fit perfectly in with our crossover stuff with Misfits. We can build him on there, bring over Derek Chisora, a big fight like that you know? There’s a lot of good fights for him … Mams [Taylor] is speaking to their people. I’m sure a lot of people are speaking to their people, but I think we can offer him something unique. I’m not involved, but my partner Mams is discussing with his people, yes.”
There have been reports that a fight between Ngannou and Derek Chisora is in the making. Chisora has also shown his interest in a fight with Ngannou, either in the ring or the octagon.

While there are many sponsors looking to get Ngannou to sign a contract with them, Sauerland confidently claimed that what Misfit could offer the ex-champion was something unique from the rest. He further added that his partners are discussing and going forward with the process. But it seems like he is not currently taking part in it.
