Fury further elaborated on his plans to battle the UFC heavyweight champ in an exhibition bout during the post-fight press conference. The Englishman stated that this might be his last rodeo in the championship level of boxing, but he would not go away before giving fans the fights they wanted.

Talking about wanting to fight the Cameroonian in an exhibition match, Tyson Fury stated, “I definitely think so, but I’m not running out. I will not rule out exhibitions for sure. Get some of that Floyd Mayweather money. You know I want to have fun, you know? I’m an entertainer. You saw tonight. Entertained. It’s what I do best.”

He continued, “I’m an entertainer, and so I want to have a lot of fun. You know, big Francis Ngannou was here today. He’s on my hit list in an exhibition fight. However, he wants. In a cage, in a boxing ring, boxing gloves, UFC gloves, we can make it happen. I think everyone wants to see. He’s a monster of a guy. I’m a monster of a guy. So it’ll be the clash of the titans for sure.”

A fight between these two individuals will set PPV records, and the decibels within the arena may blow open the roof. This would be a clash of titans like never seen before. Ngannou, who is now recuperating from a knee surgery due to an ACL tear, will take months before resuming his training. Hence, this fight will probably happen at the end of 2022 or at the start of 2023.
