Jose Aldo made his boxing debut this year. He fought Alberto Emanuel Zebrano in Rio de Janeiro and emerged victorious via a unanimous decision. After winning his debut fight, Aldo is ready to take on another opponent in the ring.
In a recent tweet, Guilherme Cruz, tweeted announcing Aldo’s next fight set for this year. According to the tweet, Aldo and “Money” Mayweather is all ready to lock horns in the ring later this year. “His side has already agreed, my side too,” Aldo told MMA Fighting’s Guilherme Cruz. “We’re now waiting for to get the deal done.” said Aldo in an interview with MMA fighting.

Both fighters are supposed to meet somewhere in the “Arab World” as announced by the former UFC fighter. The former UFC featherweight champion made it clear that even though the fight will be an exhibition bout, he is not taking it lightly. “For me, it’s a punch to the face like always” said the Brazilian.

Mayweather retired from boxing after his knockout victory over Conor McGregor in 2017. Retirement was not enough to keep Floyd away from the boxing ring. Since his retirement, he has fought in numerous exhibition bouts with influencers, most notably with Logan Paul and recently with Deji.
