Former UFC double champion Conor McGregor took some time away from MMA to face one of the best boxers ever, Floyd Mayweather. The two collided in a boxing match back in 2017, with it being Mayweather’s last professional fight and 50th victory. Despite the match’s interesting nature, it still managed to become one of the highest-grossing fights in the sport.

The majority of this bout’s success could be attributed to McGregor and Mayweather’s trash-talking and charisma. Although this was the first time ‘The Notorious One was competing in a boxing match, he still managed to garner the attention of the audience.

Moreover, despite many believing that Mayweather would win the fight, the fans still wanted to see the Irishman try to get under ‘Money’s skin. McGregor was also successful in taking the fight to Mayweather and giving him a harder time than most imagined.

However, the hidden gem of this fight was the press conferences, as even five years after the bout, they have been a source of entertainment for fans. Moreover, a video of their press conference recently resurfaced where Mayweather does a somewhat awkward dance in front of McGregor.

The fans were not shy about calling out Mayweather dancing as they reacted to this entraining video.

One fan hilariously stated that Mayweather looked like comedian Kevin Hart while dancing.

McGregor, at that time, was considered one of the best trash talkers, and several fans believed the same.

One fan claimed that this was the time boxing and combat sports were at the peak of entertainment.

Lastly, one fan claimed that these two would have taken shots at each other for the whole day if UFC president Dana White would not have stopped them.

The fans seemed to enjoy this press conference way more than the fight. This was proved as after five years since their bout, the only iconic moments come from their highly entertaining press conferences.
