While he stuns his fans with his in-ring action, UFC superstar Conor McGregor uses his social media to maintain his entertainer persona character. Although he has been inactive in the sport because of an injury, he remains in the spotlight with his online shenanigans. In fact, his most recent tweet has fans up in a frenzy.

Notably, boxing legend Floyd Mayweather recently defeated MMA fighter Mikuru Asakura in Japan in an exhibition bout. Now the 45-year-old is looking forward to fighting British YouTuber Deji in yet another exhibition event.

Following the news, someone asked Conor McGregor on Twitter, “Floyd or Deji?”

The Irishman savagely replied with just one word, “Hahaa.”

Not to forget, the UFC star was last seen inside the Octagon for his trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier. The UFC 264 event, which took place in July 2021, ended in a serious injury to McGregor’s leg. However, ‘The Notorious One’ seems to be fit to fight again and is expected to make a striking return. 

Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor II: A fight for greatness

The biggest boxer and the biggest UFC fighter first squared off inside the squared circle in 2017. Fans had been anticipating this mega fight, and even the press conferences were full of excitement. The fight ended in Mayweather winning the bout via a 10th-round knockout and extending his professional boxing record to a perfect 50-0.

Apparently, there have been rumors for months about a potential sequel to the Mayweather vs. McGregor fight now. The Irishman is looking to make a comeback, and what else could be more striking than a rematch with the ‘pretty boy’ of boxing? 

Notably, Mayweather recently announced that he will fight McGregor in 2023. However, there have been no official announcements about the same. As per reports, a source revealed that the American boxer had offered the Irishman $157.9 million for the rematch. Also, it is rumored that the event might be worth a staggering $1 billion.
