Ahead of the fight, Lopez looks to be working out at full capacity to prepare for his Puerto Rican foe. In addition to his routine, ‘The Takeover’ has added another exercise to his arsenal that fans would not have expected. In a recent video on his social media, Lopez revealed that he would be incorporating the Conor McGregor flies in his workout. As the name suggests, this exercise was made famous by former UFC double champion Conor McGregor who used it in his various workout routines.
“So, I try out the McGregor flies. You don’t know about the McGregor flies? Ya’ll don’t know about the McGregor flies? I mean you should know about the McGregor flies.” Lopez said in the video. However, this was not all as the Notorious One himself replied back to Lopez with a tweet. In the tweet, he claimed that he was honored that Lopez would use his exercises in the workout. “Honored, champion!” he wrote.
