Conor Benn has made quite a name for himself in the boxing world. He clinched the WBA continental welterweight gold in 2018 and there has been no looking back since then. But his smooth sail felt an obstruction when Benn tested positive for a drug test ahead of his fight with Chris Eubank Jr. When Benn tested positive, he was met with eye rolls from all across the world. But, recently, a boxing manager commented on former UFC Light Heavyweight champ Jon Jones to make a point to the fans about doping, and Benn didn’t hold back from replying to him.\
Sam Jones, who owns the firm ‘S-Jam Boxing’, took to Twitter to share his thoughts on Jon Jones testing positive on his drug test and still being allowed to fight while, on the other hand, Benn is treated somewhat differently.

Sam further claimed that people voicing against Benn for testing positive are the same people who refer to ‘Bones’ as the greatest. Benn did not hold back from replying to Sam’s tweet. He replied to the tweet with an emoji to show his disappointment with the different treatment between the athletes.
Jon ‘Bones’ Jones has had a reputation for being involved with narcotics and has tested positive on his drug tests multiple times. UFC Vice President of Athlete Health and Performance, Jeff Novitksy, once said that in 2019, ‘Bones’ was tested a staggering 42 times by 3 separate entities, the most for any sportsman he has seen in a year.
In 2019, @JonnyBones was subject to 42 no-notice drug tests by 3 separate entities (USADA, CSAC and NSAC). In my 20 years experience in the anti-doping world, this is the highest volume of yearly tests that I have ever seen on one athlete, in any sport.

Jones was also banned by USADA for one year for the same. As per talkSPORT, his former rival Anthony smith once claimed that Jones “failed every single drug test” leading up to their fight UFC 235.
