The former four-weight division champ Adrien Broner called out the UFC veteran Nate Diaz for a boxing match, following the latter’s contract completion with UFC.
The boxer synonymous with controversies took to Instagram on Friday and shared a poster that includes two pictures: one depicts him and the other Nate Diaz.

As soon as this circulated on the Internet, it caught the attention of fans.

Why did Broner call Diaz for a contest?
After winning his last fight on contract at UFC 279 against another UFC legend, Tony Ferguson, Diaz hinted at making a boxing debut. He has already been called out by the social media personality Jake Paul for years.

Keeping this in mind, Broner openly challenged him on social media. The 33-year-old is out of the ring for more than a year. His last fight was in February 2021. Earlier this year, he was set to return against Omar Figueroa Jr. However, this fight could not reach fruition because he pulled out of the event due to mental health issues.
