UFC legend Anderson Silva is slated to fight Youtuber turned boxer Jake Paul later this month. Although the Brazilian is a seasoned fighter, his age might slow him down in front of a young and agile Paul. UFC president Dana White had mentioned earlier that Silva should retire now.

Anderson Silva recently appeared on the ‘Full Send Podcast,’ where he stated, “I don’t talk bad about Dana White, right? But I do talk specifically this moment about Ryan Orion. I’m sit down and I talk to everybody, doing the interview, you know people say ‘oh because Dana said this is your last fight’, and ba ba ba. And you cannot fight in UFC anymore. And yes, I’m not fighting in UFC anymore, but I am not done. I just finish with UFC, but I continue fight, for sure I continue fight. And that’s happen in a moment, you know, nobody can say for the other man when the guy needs to stop. You need to find that inside the heart.”

Dana White shares his views on Anderson Silva’s last UFC battle
Silva is the longest-reigning UFC champion in the history of the sport. The former middleweight champion retired from UFC back in 2020. His last fight was not as he would have imagined, because his opponent, Uriah Hall, was badly punishing Silva inside the octagon.

Following Silva’s loss, UFC president Dana White revealed, “I made a big mistake, I shouldn’t have let him fight this fight (Saturday). But out of respect for him — he’s a legend of this sport, a legend of this company — I did something I didn’t agree with… Anderson Silva should never fight again.”
