The UFC recently launched the first season of the Power Slap event named Power Slap: Road to the Title. Licensed and sanctioned by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, Power Slap looks forward to showcasing “power, technique, and resolve”. According to Dana White, the best aspect of the show is to permit a contestant to openly and violently slap another he/she disliked personally.

In addition, as the contestant ‘The King of Kings’ Ryan Phillips expressed in episode 1, the show arrived with a package modeled on “testosterone” and “mayhem”. With all that said, ever since its launch, a significant amount of fans have doubted whether or not this contest should enjoy the status of a sport. Recently, the former two-time Heavyweight champion of the world, Mike Tyson praised and promoted Power Slap: Road to the Title.
