After Slamming Their Purse Bet, Conor McGregor Reacts to Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia’s Face-off

Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis were just seen at their weigh-in on Friday, and now the next time fighters are going to meet will be inside the boxing ring. In just a few hours, the long-awaited result of one of the biggest fights in boxing will be out soon. Every combat sports fan is excited to watch this bout, even the famous UFC fighter, Conor McGregor talked about this fight many times. After watching the face-off between both fighters, McGregor made a tweet where he expressed his honest opinions about the demeanor of both, Garcia and Davis.

It’s always a bit wholesome to watch a UFC fighter getting involved with the boxing fights. Garcia and Tank have managed to grab the attention of ‘Notorious’ for their upcoming bout. McGregor recently called out Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis on their purse bet. He then stated that they have gone stupid to agree to such a bet. He again cleared his stance by adding that the fighters should always respect the money they’re receiving for their fights. They shouldn’t toss it away like this.

Well, recently McGregor himself hinted at a return to the boxing ring. It’d be very interesting to see the ‘Notorious’ getting back inside the ring and showcasing his boxing skills again.

Nonetheless, his statements about the purse bet started a debate on the internet, but this makes it obvious that McGregor is keeping an eye on their fight. And recently, after the face-off, McGregor made a tweet where he praised the fighters and was impressed by their attitude.

His statements about Davis and Garcia’s purse bet also got him the response from ‘KingRy’. So, Ryan Garcia replied back to Conor McGregor for calling their decision, “stupid”.

Garcia was asked about his opinions on what McGregor said about putting their purse money on the line. In an interview with Fight Hype, he clearly stated that he respects what UFC fighter Conor McGregor said. And he won’t deny the truth behind his statements, as he agrees that a lot of fighters don’t keep their word about the bet but Garcia made it clear that he isn’t the same as other boxers.
