UFC star Conor McGregor is at again, but this time he might have picked a side too dangerous for his own good. The Irish fighter recently extended his support to John Gotti III after the latter asked for backup from him. ‘The Notorious’ is ready to pick up arms in support of Gotti against his former opponent, Floyd Mayweather. McGregor, who is always ready to throw jabs at his rivals, smelled an opportunity to get back at the American boxer who is 1-0 up on him.

However, the battle runs deep, and the 34-year-old’s declaration of “war” might only escalate the already sensitive tussle. The rivalry between Gotti III and Mayweather is burning like a fire and the Irish fighter is the latest to intensify the heat. He fell back to his delete-and-tweet shenanigans when he announced he would “back the Gotti’s.

The boxer might be glad at this show of support. Markedly, the exhibition fight between Gotti III and Floyd Mayweather on Sunday night ended in chaos. The fight culminated in both the teams clashing after Gotti continued to hit ‘Money’ despite the match being called off by the referee.

The tumult fight between both boxers was stopped abruptly in the sixth round as the tensions between the fighters exceeded the referee’s abilities to lease them. The hostilities reached a different note when Mayweather received threats that concerned the safety of his daughter.

The flames of the fight reached Mayweather’s family

In a threatening message, Gotti’s sister Nicolette swore to come after Mayweather’s daughter. She wrote, “I swear on my kids I’m coming for your daughter it may be 2 years 3 years from Now but I’m coming c*nt.”
