In a recent interview, Paul disclosed that he was aiming for at least 70,000 pay-per-view buys. Even though he expressed that he would be content with “anywhere from 300-500,00”, he felt if the promotion and ‘All Access’ performed well, the fight could pull up to 700,000 PPV buys.

Jake Paul said, “I do think this will be the biggest pay-per-view (of my career). I would be happy with anywhere from 300-500,000, but I think it can get up anywhere to like 600 or 700,000, depending on how the fight week goes and the promotion and if ‘All Access’ performs well.”
Paul’s last fight was the rematch against former UFC champion Tyron Woodley. Despite high hopes, Tyron Woodley vs. Jake Paul 2 did not sell well, and was declared that it ‘bombed‘ on PPV.

Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley’s rematch took place in December of last year. Paul won the fight via a knockout and was out of the ring ever since. Despite the build up and all the drama involved, reportedly, Paul vs. Woodley II sold less than 65,000 units.
Even though Paul and Silva share a tremendous age gap, fans are excited to see the fight. Ahead of the fight, Paul believes Anderson Silva is representing the MMA community against him. In addition, Paul believes had it not been for Dana White who claimed Paul ‘wouldn’t do it,’ he would not have taken the fight.
