YouTube sensation Logan Paul is one of the most polarizing figures in boxing. While some have appreciated him for the attention and audience he brings to the sport, others feel like he takes the limelight away from more skilled boxers.
Although, Paul hasn’t competed in the ring since his exhibition match against Floyd Mayweather last year. He might be ready to get back in the squared circle to face another controversial figure, Dillon Danis. The pair have been taking shots at each other over social media, with Paul claiming that he would ‘ piece up’ ‘El Jefe’ and Danis stating he would knock Paul out unconscious. Moreover, it looks like UFC middleweight contender Paulo Costa is excited about this match-up as he took to Twitter to express this.

“A rare case where a Paul brother is the fan favorite,” He wrote. This statement certainly has some truth to it, as Danis has seen his fair share of controversy.
El Jefe recently got arrested after an altercation with a police officer after footage of it leaked online. Moreover, he has also been known for using controversy to gain attention and hype. However, this could be a chance for him to redeem himself in the public eye.

Danis gained a reputation for being Conor McGregor’s Jiu-Jitsu coach. However, he has not competed at a high level professionally. He has an MMA record of 2-0, with both fights under the Bellator promotion. Paul, on the other hand, also has not had a hugely successful boxing career.
He has only competed in one professional bout against fellow Youtuber KSI, which he lost. However, he has had exhibition bouts against Floyd Mayweather and KSI. This fight could be a great opportunity for both competitors to make a mark on the fight world and reignite their careers.
