As news of Broner pulling out of the fight hit the internet, several other athletes came out in support of him. However, fans were skeptical about the reasons he claimed behind his withdrawal. A fan commented on Broner’s post about Williams, “Stop it mental health you fu**king up the culture.”
While another said, “Broner is a clown show,” one user wrote, “Learn from her, drinking partying and getting drugs is what got you where you are.”
Another fan said, “Shut up AB about broke.”
Notably, the former boxing champion was set to go up against Oscar Figueroa on August 20th. Broner was making his return to the ring at Hollywood’s Seminole Hardrock Live Arena after a brief absence from the sport. But he withdrew from the bout citing mental health concerns. However, fans continue to have doubts about the same.
Upcoming boxing fights that have fans on their toes
The same day on which Broner was supposed to fight Figueroa, there was another fight that fans had been eagerly waiting for. Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk faced each other for a second time on August 20th. Remarkably, the latter was announced as the winner of the fight.

However, Usyk winning the fight pointed toward an even bigger match-up- Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury. The latter has come out of his retirement to fight the Ukrainian boxer, and fans can’t be more excited about it.
