Former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson is one of the most celebrated athletes of all time. The 56-year-old is not only known for his boxing prowess, but he also stuns his fans with his words of wisdom. In a recent episode of his podcast, Tyson was asked a question, and the show’s guest was taken aback by the veteran boxer’s answer.

The recent episode of Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson featured American rapper Cordae, who is also Japanese tennis player Naomi Osaka’s boyfriend. Along with the guest, Mike Tyson was accompanied by co-host Sebastian Joseph-Day. The co-host questioned Tyson later in the broadcast about the advice he would have given himself ten years ago if he could talk to himself.

The veteran boxer instantly replied, “Cut your di*k off. It’s so much trouble.”

Cordae and Sebastian both burst out laughing, pausing to take Tyson’s words in. The rapper said he doesn’t want to give any damn advice to his younger self when he was asked the same question. “That would Fu*k sh*t up,” he remarked.

‘Iron Mike’ is a completely different man as compared to who he was during his heyday. During his boxing days, he was called ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ due to his aggressive nature and impulsive actions. But today, the 56-year-old has transformed into a calm individual who seemingly has his life in control, opposite to how it was during his young days.

While talking about depression, Tyson advised Cordae, “You gotta control your mind. The purpose of your body is just to carry your brain, so your brain has to be under control. Because if you don’t have it under control, it’ll destroy you and everything around you, it’s not your friend. It doesn’t want to do anything nice for you only if you control it.”
