Adam Azim is one of the biggest prospects in British professional boxing. ‘The Assassin’ recently secured a scintillating win against Anthony Loffet. However, his post-victory celebration, inspired by Cristiano Ronaldo, caught the eye of boxing fans.

Azim faced Loffet at the Skydome in Coventry on June 25, 2022. Furthermore, he surprised spectators by knocking out Loffet in the very first round, barely 35 seconds into the fight.

Azim celebrated with a somersault followed by Cristiano Ronaldo’s iconic ‘Siu’ celebration. In fact, his celebration left the commentator drawing similarities between Azim and greats, like Prince Naseem and Amir Khan.
Notably, Ronaldo celebrates by jumping up, spinning in the air, and landing on his feet with his arms outstretched. Unsurprisingly, the celebration has since become an iconic part of soccer.

He even met the soccer superstar in Dubai in 2020. An elated Khan posted a picture with Ronaldo, even referring to him as a ‘legend’ in the captions.

Khan is a major inspiration to upcoming British boxers of South Asian descent. Meanwhile, Azim and his brother also share a British-Pakistani heritage with the ‘King’.

Azim has often stated that Khan has been one of his biggest inspirations. Additionally, he also stated that he was grateful to have fought as Khan’s undercard.
His adoration for Khan was clear when he mentioned he wished to inspire future generations, like Khan inspired his generation.
