Owing to this, he has now achieved the position that he deserves. ‘The Animal’ made a statement by creating the most iconic fight on the Fury vs. Ngannou undercard. It does not look like he’ll stop making waves anytime soon, either.

The Congolese fighter has seen ups and downs throughout his career. While his name might not be as big as some of the other heavyweight fighters, it is definitive that he is getting there. His record is a testament to his skills. Bakole considers himself as the most avoided fighter in the heavyweight division, well that is no longer the case as he celebrates his new position as the No.1 WBA contender on X.

The post shared by Bakole on the social media platform X highlighted position-holders of the heavyweight division. It stated the obvious, Oleksandr Usyk being the WBA super champion. Mahmoud Charr is the WBA World Champion, while Tyson Fury holds the WBC belt. The News came in the ranks of WBA contenders. Bakole stood at first, beating the likes of Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker.

Bakole wrote, “Finally number one baby, be prepared boys Martin is coming” sharing his delight. He asks the people to be prepared for his performance in the future as he goes for titles. This means that others will have to go through him to get a shot at the WBA championship. Not only that, this now makes him eligible for a title shot.

Bakole was already a force to be reckoned with. He now has the position to back himself up in fights as well. Many fans out of The Republic of Congo congratulated their native fighter as he continued to bring fame to his country.

In a heavyweight bout lasting four rounds, Bakole faced off against Carlos Takam. Despite both fighters being sizable heavyweights, the match was notably one-sided. Bakole secured a TKO victory in the fourth round, overwhelming Takam. The lack of competitiveness in the fight left many fans dissatisfied and angry, as they deemed the outcome unfair.
