Despite losing the bout against Jake Paul via UD, Nate Diaz arguably left a mark of impression on a number of fans with the fighting spirit he displayed on the 5th of August. However, one must also admit that while ‘The Problem Child’ could not finish the former UFC fighter, the 38-year-old simultaneously disappointed the spectators with his boxing skills. As a result, besides hoping Diaz would keep clear of boxing following his woeful debut, fans hoped the two would avoid a rematch of any sort.
However, to everyone’s surprise, after Jake Paul recently declared that he looked forward to returning on December 15, ‘The Stockton Warrior’ took to X and posted a fake poster that announced “Paul vs. Diaz II”. As a result, in his response to the mixed martial artist, Jake Paul tore apart the former with his latest declaration.

After Diaz shared the mentioned fake poster, the official account of Most Valuable Promotions, co-founded by Paul, stated that ‘The Problem Child’ “will not be boxing Nate Diaz again”. In addition, they revealed that Paul even accepted an offer from PFL to rematch Diaz in MMA. However, in the wake of MVP’s latest post, holding Diaz’s “fragile ego” accountable, Paul claimed the former would not entertain the idea of fighting ‘The Problem Child’ inside a cage.
According to Paul who trolled KSI, Diaz would “rather rematch me in boxing again” because the former UFC champion cannot afford to lose an MMA bout to ‘The Problem Child’. “For the record, it’s a 1 fight deal. No strings attached. But this scared b*tch rather rematch me in boxing again. His fragile ego can’t deal with the thought of losing to me in MMA,” Jake Paul elaborated on an Instagram story regarding the PFL offer he’s received and accepted. In this context, it is also worth mentioning that Paul believes Diaz will not be able to defeat him in MMA.

Paul is confident Diaz won’t submit him if they fight in MMA
In his latest appearance on the Full Send Podcast, Paul did not certify Diaz’s MMA skills. In his opinion, with his power, Diaz will not be able to take him down. Likewise, Paul feels that although Diaz has a blackbelt in BJJ, he would not be able to submit the YouTuber-turned-boxer. “He is going to get made fun of. He felt my power and I don’t think he will be able to take me down, so he couldn’t submit me,” Paul said.
