Two worlds collided after the CEO of Mayweather Promotions lauded Deion Sanders. Over the weekend, the Colorado Buffaloes defeated the Nebraska Cornhuskers football team 36-14 after much anticipation. However, this match was a bit more peculiar than any other match. The world was as invested in this game as Sanders recently made his debut as a coach for the Colorado Buffaloes.

Prior to Sanders’ entry, the Buffaloes’ were labeled as the “worst team” in college football. In fact, last year, they lost games by almost a margin of 29.1 points which is considered the worst in the country and the fourth-worse within the Power 5 programs in the past 30 years. But with ‘Coach Prime’, they have already defeated TCU and Nebraska. Even the CEO of Mayweather promotions Leonard Ellerbe reacted to this.

Leonard Ellerbe agrees with Ryan Clark’s assessment of Deion Sanders

According to Ryan Clark, ‘The Prime coach,’ was the catalyst behind the attention surrounding him coaching the new team of Colorado. However, he asserts that many did not tune in to support the team but to see Sanders lose instead.

He substantiated his claim and felt that the fans at large did not wish to see the athlete be confident and outspoken about his abilities. In addition, Clark thinks Sanders has the right to be braggadocio and not receive any criticism for it.

He added, “He’s earned the right to be himself and talk his talk, & he’s allowing people to see that leadership comes in many different forms. Last week’s win was a step in that direction, but don’t get it twisted. This works for him because he’s HIM. Don’t expect this to be a trend. Ain’t but one Prime!”

Meanwhile, the CEO of Mayweather Promotions could not have agreed more with the assessment made by Clark and it was evident after he stated, “Talk that talk boss man.”
