Super Bowl LVII concluded over a week ago now, but the excitement and the praises are still lingering over everybody’s mind. One of the most memorable moments of this Super Bowl was its halftime performance of Rihanna. She lit up the whole stadium with her music and that night, Rihanna was breathing fire regardless of her pregnancy. Well, what Rihanna did was obviously impressive, but there was one more reason for the energetic aura surrounding the arena, and it is none other than Justina Miles. Miles was the sign language performer at the Super Bowl 13-minute halftime show.
Her performance was immaculate and received praise from many. Even, Logan Paul’s coach, Milton Lacroix, has shared a clip from her performance in his recent Instagram story. Justina Miles suffers from hearing impairment herself and commendably communicates the beautiful art of music to the deaf community, who can’t listen to the man-made melody. Miles acts as a visual aid enabling people from the community to see and perceive music.

Justina Miles has minimal sense of hearing, so even though she’s deaf, she can sense the beat and perform accordingly. She told her fans in an interview post-performance, that she is very well-versed in signing the lyrics.
But the sign language doesn’t allow her to express the background music. And that’s the reason she loves moving so that people can see the beat even if they can’t hear it.
