The Boxer turned mogul, Floyd Mayweather, is making headlines for his new business venture. Recently, he took to Twitter to launch his new NFT project called ‘Mayweverse’.

However, as soon as the five-weight division champ dropped a video clip, giving an update on NFTs, the social media platforms buzzed with reactions.

‘The Pretty Boy’ of boxing wrote, After many months of hard work I’m launching my new NFT Project @mayweverse. The collection will have 5,000 NFTs (5 different NFTs cards of 1,000 each). Each card has a different rarity, utilities & prizes. More information on the roadmap will be announced soon. Stay Tuned.”

Along with this information, he added a video giving a brief trip to his luxurious rooms.

For the uninitiated, a YouTuber named Coffeezilla came up with a short video named ‘Floyd Mayweather Scammed Me’ to draw the attention of people to Mayweather’s NFT scams.

In the process of uncovering Floyd Mayweather‘s NFT scam, the YouTuber began discussing from 2018, when ‘The Best Ever’ came under heavy accusations for the first time related to NFTs and cryptocurrency.

According to the YouTuber, ‘The Pretty Boy’ faced a three-year ban in 2018 from promoting securities after a scam, with an ICO called ‘Cintratech’.

However, after the completion of three years, the boxing great is back again with his new project.

What’s the opinion of the YouTuber on a new NFT project by Floyd Mayweather?

The first thing that the YouTuber picked was Mayweather’s claim while promoting ‘Mayweverse’ that no one can lose by betting on him. Regarding this, he recalled Mayweather’s previous NFT projects that were collapsed in the middle.

These are @RealFloydNFT and bored bunny promoted last year by undefeated stalwart and eventually ended with a 90 percent loss.

After the failure of these NFTs, to everyone’s surprise, Mayweather again came up with a new NFT called ‘Bored bad bunny’, like previous ones. This project ended on a bad note.

However, it seems that Mayweather has promised himself to promote NFTs after back-to-back failures. In the end, the YouTuber has left everything on his fans that if they want, they can go but keep in mind the truth of Mayweather’s previous project.
