For years Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone has been a darling in pop culture, especially among boxing and fitness fans. This is mainly due to the success of his ‘Rocky franchise but also partly because of his incredible work ethic and charming persona. Thus, it shouldn’t be surprising when a renowned fitness YouTuber and bodybuilder tried to mimic ‘Sly’.
In a recent YouTube video, IFBB pro, and bodybuilding legend, Greg Doucette tried to replicate a workout done by Stallone and also parody the original workout.

The bodybuilding icon can be seen holding two 45lbs plates in his hands while kneeling on the floor. He then proceeds to pick up the plates and stand upright using his shoulders and forearms after which he hilariously screams. “I’m Sylvester Stallone“. Moreover, the video cuts briefly to Stallone doing the same workout.
This was not all as the fans were also quick to jump in and share their thoughts on the video.
Fans react to Doucette mimicking Sylvester Stallone
One fan praised Stallone for managing to pick up the 45lbs plates while being in his 70s.
“He’s in his 70’s and doing it with 45’s.” he wrote.
Another fan claimed that Doucette’s mimicking Stallone, in the end, was hilarious. “The “I’m Sylvester Stallone!!!” Will never get old“.
A fan even wanted mick from Rocky to provide motivation. “Someone should have mick from rocky 1 in the corner yelling “get up!” he wrote.
However, one fan insinuated Doucette was only stronger than Stallone because he used PEDs to improve his strength and performance.
“you’re only stronger because you eat anabolic French Toast” he wrote.
One fan stated that the bodybuilder sounded like Jerry the mouse when he screams at the end of the video.
“Greg sounds like what Jerry the mouse would sound like if it could talk” he wrote.
Lastly, one fan thought that Doucette needed to add some more sounds at the end of his scream. “I think u needed to add a couple more ah eh he grrr ‘s“. he wrote.
